The boards we create at Essence, have been designed with much more in mind than convenient transportation. Each of our original decks has been engineered to deliver you into serenity on those midnight rides we all love so much.

If you are looking for a mass produced longboard deck adorned with the standard silk-screening of a sunset or a half-naked female armed with a smoking six-shooter, then look elsewhere. You won’t have a difficult time finding just such a tasteless longboard in today’s market. However, at Essence Board Company, we expect more of our beloved longboards; and we would never slide a board beneath your feet that we wouldn’t ride ourselves. Our boards proudly showcase a variety of exotic hardwoods, handpicked from around the world in order to combine a one-of-a-kind natural beauty with our unparalleled durability.
